¡Hola a todos!
We've only been in Argentina for a short time, but it has already been an amazing experience. Our hearts have been overwhelmed and it is clear that God has been at work. Thank you all so much for your prayers. Church last with fellow believers was a huge blessing! At church we met the pediatric surgeon, and we will be observing several hours of surgery on Wednesday. He has an amazing testimony and is excited about the witnessing opportunity he will have because we will be there. Please keep us in prayer. We can't wait to share with you how God works.
Miss you all.

P.S. The food is so good here that they can even make cow intestine taste… ok :)

Hi Jessica, don't know if you remember me but I'm Cindy Barth, a friend of your mom's from YEARS ago! I got an e-mail from your mom telling of your awesome opportunity to witness for Christ and I promise to pray for you, your group, the mission at hand AND your mom every day that you are there! :)
Yuck, cow intestines? How could you do that to your dorm mascot?! Just kidding! I've had you close in my thoughts and prayers! You sound excited and I cannot wait to hear about this all in person!
Hey Girlies! Glad to hear you arrived! Just wanted you to know that I am praying for both of you. Keep an eye on each other :) Love ya! Em K
Hi Jess! Ok...I heard there was some excitment in the OR on Wednesday! I am so anxious to hear all about it!
Zach had an interesting birthday. I guess I'll let him tell you all about it. Let's just say it started out with me waking him up to a rousing (ok...maybe NOT so rousing! ha) rendition of Happy Birthday on the cello. (If you can imagine Happy Birthday as a funeral march you would get the idea!! haha!) And then...it went down hill from there! That's all I'll say.
Things were MUCH better for him today. We are getting ready to go to see Cinderella. I saw some photos of the sets and kids in costumes. It looks amazing!
We are thinking of you and praying for you constantly! Can't wait to hear all about it! I love you Jess!
Love and prayers,
Mom
